![]() ![]() There are two possible ways for 3D content to ship. The general layout of the application looks a lot like the basic Windows Media Player. I suggest you check their website for the latest version, as these include a lot of additional features and are far more stable than the one that ships with the monitor. The newest version from the manufacturer is 1.5.5, while Zalman also offers a very recent version 1.5.2 on their website at the time of writing this review. The version included is 1.3.2, which crashed on me several times during the review. Stereoscopic Player Zalman EditionZalman ships the unit with a video player, capable of using the information of 3D video files and present them in such a way, so that you can view it in 3D. Gaming also requires you to use special drivers, so that the games are output the same way as video is, thus working with the circular polarization of the included glasses. You require video which actually is interlaced horizontally and then polarized through the special layer on top of the 2D screen. Classic material with the red and cyan displacement images will not work on the Zalman ZM-215W. To see things in 3D you require specific video and drivers. ![]() After game starts press numpad 0 and navigating in Tridef OSD to enable Power3D.SoftwareAs you can imagine, one cannot simply plug the 3D monitor in, turn it on and watch their favorite movie or play any game right away. Launch injector first then launch Tridef Ignition (with Skyrim profile). Just install latest ENB injector version. With Power 3D turned on, the performance will often be much closer to the 2D game performance.ģD Texture Copy allows the user to switch between different methods of passing 3D textures around the system to assess the impact on performance. In normal 3D mode, the frame rates of most games will decrease by 50% compared to 2D mode. Because there is only one view of the image, sometimes there is visual distortion around the edges of an object that is at a significantly different depth than the scene behind it. The final image is generated by combining the depth map to the original image, like many 2D to 3D conversion algorithms (note that the way the depth map is generated is the key difference). Things like crosshairs in P3D are generally rendered at object depth, based on the depth map, so the crosshair will match the depth of what you are aiming at. For example, we don’t have to worry about shadows or lighting, because they are cast on the objects and we know the depth of the object. The advantage of this is we can ignore all aspects of the scenes underlying rendering. Depth information is extracted from the z buffer and used to build a depth map, similar to the way games like Crysis 2 or Sniper Elite v2 handle their own integrated 3D. We are not operating solely on the rendered image with no information about the context or depth. ![]() Power3D is not the same as 2D to 3D conversion, as many people seem to believe. Becouse Power3D also has problems correctly rendering volumetric effects like smoke and rain in 3D scenes. Normal stereo 3d in Skyrim possible only when you disabled Tridef Power3D and disabled 3d texture copy.īut ENB work only if you enable Power3D that not good. Yesterday i`m founded that possible to use Tridef stereo mode with ENB in Skyrim.īut exist limitation. ![]()
